This is part one of a two-part series related to sustainability.

The second webinar in this series on that is scheduled for late 2024 will showcase how two equestrian groups benefited from the Legacy Trails Grant Program to enhance trail sustainability. They include Back Country Horsemen (BCH) of Washington and their work on the NW Scenic Trail through the Pasayten Wilderness and the BCH Virginia Highlands who is partnering with the Appalachian Conservation Corps to create a 300-foot turnpike structure to solve a severe trail erosion problem as part of a nineteen mile trail restoration project in the Appalachian area.
